Our Success

Our second, “Déjà Vu” experience was at the home of Dan and Melissa.  Two weeks ago they, along with their two children, opened their hearts and home to little Betty, fka Bugz, our little 13″ Beagle from North Carolina. Today, they welcomed Ghost into their fold.  Ghost had escaped his previous owner’s home in West

Feel Like You’ve Been Here Before? It Might Be Déjà Vu… Well, that is what today felt like, and it was. Two weeks ago, Marshall, our breeder-release Schnauzer, was adopted by Gloria and Bob. Also, two weeks ago, upon leaving Gloria and Bob’s home, we traveled to the home and family of Dan and Melissa.

From Puppy Mill to Furever Home, Lexi just nailed it! Lexi was released to Almost Home Foster MN License #132328 from a local breeder. This happy, tail-wagging, energetic, friendly little girl was unlike so many of the the releases that we take into rescue. We learned that one of the shelter staff had taken the

Logan, formerly called Joker, was sentenced to life outside.  This little 12# nugget was suspected of killing a chicken and his owner wanted him gone…RIGHT NOW!  This little guy didn’t have a home or family to speak of.  He didn’t experience love, cuddles, compassion –  he got a yard.  A fenced yard with no one
