Well, Mother Nature sure pranked the Midwest this April Fool’s Day, but it was no joke that Dixie of West Virginia found her family and her home this April 1st.

Dixie was found as a stray in West Virginia. The shelter was no place for this sweet, docile Beagle so a foster home was found. Almost Home Foster MN License #132328 was contacted by Ronya Akers; could we take her…could we find her a home. Yes and Yes.
On April 1st, amongst the carnage on I 35 heading North to the Metro area of Minnesota, after Mother Nature dumped a boat-load of wet, heavy snow, Dixie made her way into the heart…yep, it was love at first sight, and home of Kristin.
