Stanley was welcomed into rescue when his puppy antics proved to be too much for his young family. Purchased from a breeder at the age of 8 weeks, Stanley was too energetic and yesterday, he was surrendered to rescue.
Stanley is 8 months old. He is full vetted; up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. Stanley is potty-trained.
Stanley is a King Cavalier Spaniel/Miniature Poodle – Cavapoo. He currently weighs 15# and his adult weight is anticipated at 22#. Stanley is playful, curious and just a lot of fun to have around.
We are looking for a young family for Stanley, one in which he can grow with. He does well with cats and other dogs, so a fur-sibling would be a plus.

Almost Home Foster & Rescue of MN is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFR is located in SE Minnesota, in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFR is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFR adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
Hello Diane, I wanted to come back and look at your available fur babies now that i am working remote all the time now. I appreciate all that you did for me previously with my previous adoption. If Stanley is open for adoption still i would be very interested in learning more. I live in Lakeville in a townhome but have been openly looking to buy a home just havent found the place i am looking to call home yet. we have no restrictions and our management office said folks just call them to verify. Let me know if he is still open and up for adoption.
