Josie, a 3-year-old Blue Merle Aussie Doodle was surrendered to Almost Home Foster & Rescue. The demand for a “little or no shedding” dog is high. I have a rescued “oodle” myself and I quite enjoy at least one dog who doesn’t contribute to the “hair bunnies” that can be found in nearly every corner or step, or the plugged vacuum canister.
We didn’t have Josie in rescue long. Applications came in at a steady pace. But, Lauren had the perfect home, the perfect set up, the “doodle” knowledge, and they were ready to open their hearts and home to another. Lauren has a schedule and a career that will allow her quality time with Josie.
Josie will have many a Summer at the lake with her fur-cousins and as true to the Poodle being a waterdog, her Summers will be spent boating with her family, and living the “Up North” cabin life of Minnesota.
Lauren, we are furever grateful that you have opened your heart and home to Josie. You have given her the family and life that she so richly deserves. Thank you!
