Almost Home Foster/Rescue deviated away from the pulling of Beagles from the Southern states and began saving a few others that were right in our backyard. In an attempt to reduce their numbers, or they are getting out of the breeding business, or because there was a death in the family; the main caretaker of the facility, or because the sales and demand just isn’t there, area breeders asked if we could place their retiring furbabies in good homes. We felt that these babies were entitled and deserved this consideration. And so, we began the task of finding great homes and awesome families for these deserving furbabies.
Beau, a 4-year-old, Mini Party-Poodle was one of our first intakes. He had a lot of character and spunk to him. He loved all the attention and cuddles he could get. Beau needed the right home and a family that would help him gain his confidence, to help him explore this new world that he was experiencing and to give him all the love and patience that he needed and deserved.
This past weekend, Beau continued his journey to his furever home and family. Mark and Dawn, experienced Poodle-Parents, welcomed him home. Beau even gained a Poodle fur-brother Ozzie. Mark and Dawn have also fostered for area rescues, adopted former rescue pets, and are experienced with those pups released from breeding.
Thank you Mark and Dawn for sharing your life, your heart and home with Beau. Thank you for giving him such an amazing family.
We are furever grateful.
