Sissa joined the Almost Home Foster & Rescue Pack when her family dynamics changed, and
the added activities of the household were more than she was comfortable with. Sissa liked her
laid back, Queen of My Castle environment. Her family made an extremely tough decision.
They asked if AHFK could help find the perfect home and family for their Corgi/Puggle Furbaby.
Because AHFK fosters all its own furbabies, bringing her to rescue to await her furever family
would have just added to her stress. The family agreed to keep Sissa while we worked our
magic.
It didn’t take long before we found a family that…well, just plain NAILED IT! Tanner contacted
AHFK inquiring about Sissa. Their family had adopted three Puggle mixes in the past. The
most recent furbaby followed her human momma, Tanner’s sister, when she left home and got a
place of her own. As we all know, silence is deafening. Tanner started the search for another.
Arrangements were made and Sissa made her way to Minnesota and into the hearts and home
of Tanner, Jane, and Steve. Harper and her human momma even came back for the meet and
greet. Sissa began her two-week sleepover with her family.
“She’s a perfect fit.” was Tanner’s response on the most recent check -in.
