Scarlett, a tiny, Red & White Boston Terrier came to Almost Home Foster & Rescue as a breeder-release. We were asked if we could find good homes for dogs that were being released by an area breeder. And, because we feel that all dog lives matter, whether a breeder-released, dumped, found as a stray, or an owner-surrender, all dogs deserved a second chance, a chance to have a home and a family of their own.
Scarlett has a unique look about her. She had one brown eye, and the other is ½ brown, ½ blue. This uniqueness drew a lot of attention, inquiries, and applications.
This past weekend Scarlett made her way “home.” She now calls Adam and Kyle family and even has a Boston Terrier fur-brother Kilo. Her parents work split shifts, so she is never without a pet parent; and besides, Kilo is always with her.
Thank you, Adam and Kyle, for opening your hearts and home to Scarlett. Thank you for giving her a chance at a home and family.
Heart hugs!
Thank you for choosing us to be Scarlett’s family! She is an absolute sweetheart and a cuddle bug! A sweet, gassy, snoring cuddle bug. LOL She’s made my partner so happy, we really needed her in our lives. Thank you for the work you do!
You are most welcome. It was a pleasure to meet you and Kyle and Scarlett has an incredible family now.
Thank you for opening your hearts to her.
