Betty Bugz, formerly known as Bugz, was pulled from the Duplin County Animal Shelter in North Carolina one day prior to her euthanasia date. One day later and this sweet, sweet, little 13” Beagle would not have experienced the freedom, the love, the cuddles, or the attention that comes with being “on the outside,” in a foster home or with a furever family.
Betty Bugz was the lucky one, and Almost Home Foster MN License 132328 was in the right place, at the right time, when Foster Momma Donna Williams stepped up and pulled little Bugz from her imprisoned cell…one day before the needle ended her life.
Betty made her way from North Carolina to Minnesota. Betty had a family waiting to meet her. Prior to her final vetting Betty made the trip to Central Minnesota to check out her new “crib.” The family was elated with her and little Betty’s tail never, NEVER stopped wagging. She went from family member to family member getting every pet, hug, cuddle that she could extract.
Betty finished her vetting and made the trip once more, the final trip to her furever home and family. They were just as elated to see her this time as when they first met. The excited voices of the human-siblings could be heard through the heavy front door.
It didn’t take long for us to receive a follow-up on Betty, “We are having so much fun with Betty!”
Thank you, Dan and Melissa, for giving this little girl her world, your hearts, a home, her family, a life.
Heart Hugs always.
