Dumped Dottie. Dumped on the side of the road in KY. Dumped with her plastic crate; one in which was toppled and inaccessible. Dottie was unwanted; kicked to the curb, treated like trash.
A Great Samaritan found Dottie and posted for rescue. Her large belly drew concerns that she was possibly pregnant. They reached out to Almost Home Foster Kennels MN License and asked if we could help.
We had Dottie vetted. 4DX Negative. She was not pregnant. Negative for internal parasites. Blood panel was exceptional. Dottie needed nutrition, warmth, a home.
Dottie found her furever home and family this month. Marianne and Joanie, mother & daughter, an artistic, colorful pair, warmly welcomed Dottie into their eclectic abode of color, patterns, textures, energy and love. The amount of love and warmth felt upon entering this home is truly magical.
