“Her name is Speck.  She was born the runt of the litter.  She was no bigger than a speck.”  Speck was released to Almost Home Foster & Rescue from an area breeder.  This little girl was the quietest, well-mannered, little Beagle that I had ever run across.  She wasn’t hunting material…she was a lap dog. 

Albert is the result of a backyard breeder who couldn’t sell all the puppies from this litter.  The backyard breeder does as one usually does… “Free to good home, need them gone.”  In many cases, the pups are abandoned, taken to shelters, euthanized, some at the hand of a vet, many in disgusting, inhumane ways. 

Hooligan, along with 5 other Pomeranians were released by a local breeder to Almost Home Foster & Rescue in April this year.  The four puppies, Luna, and Banshee all found furever homes and families rather quickly.  Hooligan remained in rescue.  We are considered a foster-based rescue.  We have 8 fenced yards/areas on our farm.  All
