Molly Gets a Rare Second Chance at Happiness and a Loving Home

Hello, my name is Molly.  I am a Shih Tzu and Bichon Frise’ mix, aka, a Teddy Bear.  My fur parents should never have been used for breeding.  I have a severe underbite, a genetic issue, but then, sometimes it is all about the money with little or no concern for our well-being
Approximately 4 years ago, my human momma bought me from a breeder.  My momma, at that time was 72 years of age.  I was just 8 weeks old.   My momma lived by herself, didn’t have any family, and I became her only companion.  Since coming home, I was never groomed, nor was i ever vetted. And after 4 years, I carried quite the pelt. My ears dragged on the floor.
Fast forward four years-my human momma fell. She couldn’t get back up and she could not get her phone to make a call. By chance, a delivery man called in for a welfare check. Momma was taken to the hospital and the policeman found me a foster – his sister who is involved in rescue.
With the help of Hailey Johnson and Amanda Weigel of The Pet Authority in Albert Lea MN, I came into rescue with Almost Home Foster & Rescue of MN.
Approximately two years ago, Mary submitted an application to Almost Home Foster & Rescue of MN.  When Molly’s posting hit social media and our website, she was all in.  A meet and greet was planned and i do believe that Molly choose her family that day.  She gained an incredibly patient human momma and a for-sister, eager to cater to every whim.
Thank you Mary for opening your heart and home to this little girl.  Thank you for giving her the family and life she truly deserves.
