“Good things come to those who wait!” Miss Elle Mae was beginning to wonder just how long she was going to have to wait for her furever home and family.
Cara Geis had contacted Almost Home Foster, “If you have room, I will foster.” We jumped on the opportunity to acquire such an incredible foster mom and to help Elle Mae, a 3-year-old, beautiful black/tan Beagle to find her furever home and family. Hence, Elle was pulled from the Decatur/Greensburg IN Animal Shelter.
Duane and Carol are no stranger to the Beagle breed, their antics, and their ever-inquisitive personality. Duane spent many an hour searching for another Beagle after the loss of their previous 2. “I was ready to head to Florida to get a Beagle, and then Elle Mae popped up on my search. She is beautiful. I had to have her,” Duane stated.
Yesterday, Elle Mae made her way to the outskirts of the metro area in Minnesota where she was united with her family; Duane and Carol and her fur-brother Pepper. She was quick to mold herself into Duane’s lap, then eager to venture out and about her new abode, then right back to her poppa. She is truly proving to be a “daddy’s girl.” Those big, sad, round Beagle eyes are sealing the deal with him also.
