Queen Cavalier Cora Finds the Perfect Furever Home and Family…It’s a Cavalier Affair!

Cora is a 4-Year-Old, F1 Cavapoo who was recently released from breeding.  Recently, as on Friday morning I picked up this beautiful King Cavalier Spaniel.  She has the most beautiful eyes that beg the nearest human to, “Just pet me.  Please just hold me, love me.”  She is truly a Velcro-pupper and we needed a home with a retired family member or individual who could help Cora gain her confidence.
Liz’s application has been sitting on the “approved” pile for over 4 months.  She originally applied for Sherry, another Cavalier that had been released to Almost Home Foster and Rescue, however, Sherry’s temperament demanded that she be adopted into a home where she could be Queen of her Castle.  And she was.  So, Liz waited patiently. Great things come to those who wait, and man, did both Liz and Cora receive the ultimate gift.  Cora, Sherry’s sister, was in need of the perfect family and Liz found her Cavalier furbaby.
Liz is a Cavalier Connoisseur of sorts.  She has a variety of Cavaliers and Cavalier mixes.  She even has a Bass-alier.  Cutest thing I have seen in a long while.  So, when Cora was released to AHFK, we contacted Liz immediately.  For the past 24 years, Liz has fostered for various rescues, transported for a number of coordinators, has supported AHFK in the past and present and has been an active member in educating and informing the public in animal advocacy.   Liz has the knowledge, the compassion, the love, time and patience to help Cora thrive and progress.
Liz, thank you for opening your heart and home to yet another in need.  Thank you for giving Cora the life and family that she so richly deserves.  We are furever grateful.
