Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota, in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, 4DX tested, current on vaccinations, *spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Jill, along with Jack, were surrendered to Foster Momma Felicia. The owners no longer wanted to care for them. They were disposable….just give them away. Jack and Jill are not bonded and need not be adopted together. There will be a separate posting for Jack.
Jill is believed to be 2 years young and a Jack Russell Terrier. She displays all the antics and traits of a JRT.
Jill is looking for a home where one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help him acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Jill to acclimate to the drastic changes in her life.
As a general rule, we state that all of our fosters are not house-trained. We realize that changes in routine and environment causes stress and can lead to accidents. Patience, compassion, positive training is required.
