Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota, in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, 4DX tested, current on vaccinations, *spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Fancy * IA is a toy Poodle weighing in at 6.3# She is 4.5 years of age with a DOB of 09.10.2020. Fancy was surrendered to Almost Home Foster & Rescue by a local breeder.
Fancy is well socialized with other dogs, and does well with cats, and is acclimating herself with humans. She has spent her life breeding and is now ready for a furever home and family of her own.
Fancy is just beginning to trust humans, although she is still displays some timidness. Fancy will need a home and family where there is constant praise, love, #cuddles, compassion and above all – patience.
As a general rule, we state that all of our fosters are not house-trained. We realize that changes in routine and environment causes stress and can lead to accidents. Fancy appears to keep her nighttime crate clean and dry. She is in a securely fenced area by day which gives a great deal of space to be mobile in.
