Freya, a breeder-release, was welcomed into Almost Home Foster & Rescue of MN early in November. Because we did not have access to vetting records, Freya’s adoption eligibility was delayed until her quarantine period ended and she was brought up to date on vaccinations. Once those were complete, she received a much needed dental and a spay was scheduled. She was, however, eligible for our Foster to Adopt Program.
Freya’s stay with us came to a close when Renee reached out, looking for a small, lap dog. She had recently lost her furbaby of 15 years and although the hole in the heart was still evident, her home and family just wasn’t complete.
Freya made the 1.5 hour journey north and once she settled in on Renee’s lap, she knew that she was home. Both Freya and Renee were content and bonded.
Thank you Renee for opening your heart and home to Freya, for giving her the family and home that she so richly deserves. Heart hugs and the best in the New Year.
