Bart Starr, a three year old Boston Terrier came to Almost Home Foster & Rescue by way of Felicia Stilley, Foster Momma in Oklahoma. She found Bart, dumped in her yard, as she does so many. Felicia had him vetted; vaccinated, 4DX Tested, and neutered. Unfortunately, Bart tested positive for Heartworm. He was prescribed 30 days of Doxycycline and we made the decision to bring him to Minnesota.
Bart completed his Heartworm treatment; three immiticide injections and was placed on restrictive activity. Upon completion of his treatment, Bart continued his journey to his furever home and family. George and his Senior Boston Terrier/Rat Terrier Mix were looking for another furbaby to add to their family. George’s condo sports a sliding patio door which leads to a fully fenced area; perfect size for two male Bostons to romp around in.
These two boys were getting along pretty famously from the get-go. They were becoming fast-friends.
