Emmy, along with her two sisters, Rose and Raina, and her Momma, Sherry, were surrendered to Almost Home Foster & Rescue. A local breeder is closing his doors and has asked for our help in finding homes for those remaining at his facility. We don’t say “no” to those needing help in our own backyard.
Emmy is a 17-week-old Cavapoo. Momma is a King Cavalier Spaniel & Toy Poodle mix. Emmy’s poppa is a purebred Toy Poodle. Emmy’s adult weight is estimated at 17-24 pounds. Because Emmy and her sisters are too young to spay currently, they are eligible for our “Foster to Adopt” Program. Full transfer of ownership will occur upon certification of spay; approximately 7-9 months of age.
Emmy was the first to leave the AHFK “next.” We had received multiple applications for the Cavapoos that we had previously brought into rescue, and working with these families, we offered to continue the adoption process with Emmy, Rose, and Raina. Dede’s application was at the top of the pile.
Dede’s has a large, securely fenced backyard and gated deck area. Dede is a stay-at-home pet parent and has frequent visits from her grandchildren. There is also another puppy and senior dog in the home. Emmy will never be alone and will always have company. She has already begun to puppy-play and spends hours with her fur-siblings in the backyard.
