Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota, in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, 4DX tested, current on vaccinations, *spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Elle is a mixed breed. Elle is a Rat-Terrier and Chihuahua mix. Elle is 8.4#. . Elle was abandoned in the Oklahoma City OK area, therefore, Elle will need some time and patience, cuddles and compassion. She needs to learn to trust again.
As a general rule, we state that all of our fosters are not house-trained. We realize that changes in routine and environment causes stress and can lead to accidents. Elle is crated at night only and at this time, she keeps her crate clean and dry. She has not had the opportunity to have accidents in the home. Her routine is consistent.
Elle is looking for a home where one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help Elle acclimate to her new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Luna to acclimate to the drastic changes in her life.
