Almost Home Foster Kennels, MN Lic. 132328 is a 501c3, not-for-profit, foster-based, rescue organization. AHFK is located in SE Minnesota, in the Austin/Albert Lea area. AHFK is primarily a Beagle and small dog rescue.
Our focus is to pull from High-Kill Shelters and to save those dogs that are at risk of euthanasia.
All AHFK adoptions require an approved, completed application, a Veterinarian and Personal Reference Check, a smoke-free environment, and a home visit.
Our Adoption fee is $425.00 for a single dog adoption.
All our dogs are completely vetted, 4DX tested, current on vaccinations, *spayed/neutered, and microchipped.

Hobo is a Jack Russell Terrier. He is 3 years of age. Hobo came to us from Oklahoma where we found him discarded and abandoned. No one came forth to claim him. Hobo weighs approximately 15#. He gets along with all dogs, humans, including children.
As a general rule, we state that all of our fosters are not house-trained. We realize that changes in routine and environment causes stress and can lead to accidents. Hobo is crated at night only and at this time, he keeps his crate clean and dry. He has not had the opportunity to have accidents in the home. His routine is consistent.
Hobo is looking for a home where one Pet Parent that is a stay-at-home parent, or one which works from home; a family that can help him acclimate to his new surroundings and environment with compassion, love, and patience. Please allow 6-8 weeks for Hobo to acclimate to the drastic changes in his life.
