In June of 2023 Almost Home Foster & Rescue agreed to help three local breeders with downsizing their numbers. Sam, a 2-year-old Boston Terrier was released to AHFK because of this agreement.
Amanda had lost her beloved Boston, Ollie, in July of this past year. There was a huge hole in her heart and home. Amanda, a true believer in adoption of rescued dogs, set out to search for another Boston Terrier…and she found Sam.
Sam continued his journey toward his furever home and his momma, Amanda, this past weekend. After three days of travel, Sam was relieved to get his legs underneath him and sniffed his way around his new home, yard, and shoreline, meeting up with a few loons along the way.
Thank you, Amanda, for opening your heart and home to this little boy. Thank you for giving him the family, the love, the compassion that he deserves.
