3-Peat Adopters are the Bomb! Daisy Returns to Rescue only to be Adopted by One of the Best

First time adopters are considered a treasure.  Almost Home Foster and Rescue has gained a family member and we welcome them into our fold.

Repeat adopters are cherished.  We have an established relationship, a bond, a trust and are elated when they wish to expand their family dynamics with another furbaby, it’s just so easy and comfortable.

Three-peaters….THEY ARE THE BOMB!  THEY ARE LIT!  THEY ARE THE BEST!  And, AHFK has a few 3-peat adopters.  Steve and Crystal were awarded this title when they adopted Daisy yesterday afternoon.

When Daisy’s family dynamics broke down, she was returned to rescue.  Our contract states that we will always take back one of our own.  Daisy made her way back to AHFK early this month, but before she even arrived, Steve and Crystal had already committed to her.

Their first AHFK Beagle was Millie, a Heartworm Treatment Survivor who was abandoned in Arkansas when she was no longer needed for breeding and the owner would not put forth the money, time or effort for Heartworm treatment.  Sadly, Millie passed away in October of last year.  And to help their newest member Elsa, adopted from their local Humane Society with her grief, they reached out to AHFK and adopted Smokey, a small, beautiful breeder-release.

Earlier this year Elsa also passed.  And Smokey, never without a side-kick Beagle was feeling alone.  We reached out when we were notified that Daisy was returning.  “I would take them all if I could, but let me talk with Steve, he makes the final call,” Crystal said.

It took but a day and Crystal shot us a PM, “He said ‘Yes!”

A final vet check, 4 DX test and Daisy went home last night.

Steve and Crystal, Your family is the BEST, you are the icon of a family and home that we wish for all of  our furbabies.  Thank you for giving Daisy, Smokey, and Millie the best life possible.  We are furever grateful for your gracious hearts.
